Laird Thermal Systems has a long history of developing temperature control software for both thermoelectric and compressor-based cooling systems. Thermal stability is also required in many temperature critical applications to ensure precise results and reliable operation.  

Software Services

Thermal management solutions with integrated temperature control offer many advantages for applications requiring high thermal stability. For example, reagents used for medical diagnostics must be stored at a constant refrigerated temperature and then heated to body temperature prior to dispensing into patient sample for testing. Another example is incubator chambers that require very precise temperature control to create the optimum conditions for cell growth. Thermal stability is also required in many industrial and communication applications to ensure precise results and reliable operation.  


Temperature Control Integration with Laird Thermal Systems

Laird Thermal Systems has a long history of integrating temperature control for both thermoelectric and compressor-based cooling systems. Depending on the customer needs, we can provide single, bi-directional or proportional controllers that offer temperature control through an integrated graphical user interface or through a communications port via RS-232 or USB. While some of our standard controllers are available at our global distributors, other temperature control solutions must be programmed by Laird Thermal Systems’ engineers.

What to Expect

  1. Laird Thermal Systems engineers will recommend a combination of temperature controller and cooling solution suitable for your application.  
  2. The system will be configured and equipped with additional features to optimize your cooling system. 
  3. Any product compliance requirements will be taken into consideration such as CE, ROHS/Reach and UL. 
  4. Once the temperature controller (both hardware and software) is designed, tested and validated, it will be manufactured in one of our ISO certified manufacturing sites or third-party contract manufacturers.
